Who we are. Kinetide ("Kinetide," "we," "us") provides wearable devices and post-race analytics for competitive swimming. Questions: ajschwartz@kinetide.tech.
What we collect. Biomechanical and motion data captured by the Kinetide device during swims (speed, rotation, stroke metrics, body-position data), plus account and contact information for coaches, athletes and programs. We may collect basic website usage information.
Data from minors. Many competitive swimmers are under 18. We collect and process a minor's data only with the involvement and consent of a coach, program and/or parent or guardian as appropriate, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child without that authorization.
How the data is used and who sees it. Team-layer data is available to the coach or program. Individual athlete reports belong to the swimmer. We use the data to deliver analytics, operate and improve the service, and support the people it's about. We do not sell personal data.
How we share. Only as needed to provide the service (e.g. with service providers who host or process data on our behalf), or where required by law. We do not share athlete data with third parties for their own marketing.
Security. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold. No system is perfectly secure, but protecting athlete data is fundamental to how the product is built.
Your choices. Coaches and swimmers can request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data at ajschwartz@kinetide.tech.
Changes. We'll post updates on this page with a revised "last updated" date.

The service. Kinetide provides devices and analytics for competitive swimming. Features, availability and pricing may change, especially during pilot programs.
Acceptable use. Use the service lawfully; don't interfere with its operation, reverse-engineer it, or use it to infringe others' rights.
Data ownership. Individual athlete reports belong to the swimmer; program-layer data is available to the coach or program. Details in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers. The service is provided "as is." Kinetide's analytics support coaching decisions but do not replace professional, medical or safety judgment.
Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, Kinetide is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
